Kitajima Shinnosuke, a cowboy from the USA who goes to Shibuya to find a group of girls to dance Para-Para. Along the way, he becomes a new type of hero, helping to solve problems that afflict Shibuya-Gals

It started out really funny. I loved seeing Naohito-kun in cowboy gear. I, living in the bible belt of cowboys, really appreciated this even though his character was totally way off and over blown. But that is okay. Just the thought of him in chaps was a glorious sight indeed. Oh, my only thing that really bothered me.....that patch of hair on his chin......had to go. I couldn't stop looking at the little thing. It draws focus away from his handsome face.

From the first few episodes it was really funny but then it started getting boring since the episodes were repetitive in nature. The last episode saved the show. Why did I finish watching this? F-U-J-I-K-I N-A-O-H-I-T-O!! He brings me glorious dreams........

Sad but as I was doing a photo search, I came across a sad read. HE'S MARRIED! Aaaaagh! Okay, I am too, but damn that ruined it for me! I actually felt my emotional, happy balloon deflate. *sigh*

Anyway, this was a pretty good show but senseless through some episodes. They did have morals at the end of each episode but I won't go through them. Too many. This was a good time waster if you are bored. But I definitely got full on the "eye candy".

The drama's full title is "Code Blue: Doctor Heli Kinkyu Kyumei." The concept is based on Japan's proposal for an emergency medical service using helicopters to quickly reach those in need. A special bill was passed in June 2007 that should foster widespread adoption of the system. Yamashita stars as a young doctor-in-training, working under the guidance of an experienced "flight doctor" (Toshiro Yanagiba). Some scenes will be filmed with a real helicopter, adding to the show's tension. ~ tokyograph

Okay, I downloaded the first episode that is finally....YES, FINALLY....subbed in English. Agh. I thought we'd never get to see it. Anyway, this will be what I know so far about the series....per episode 1. And, yes, I will be downloading the rest.

This was an awesome show.

Yamapi's character in more like a genious doctor. His faults are, though he maybe gifted and talented as a newbie doctor, he's very cold. He doesn't have the gifted bedside manner and he treats his fellow newbies in the same fashion. I do believe though we might see a love interest with his fellow newbie...Shiraishi.

I will also add the character who plays Fuikawa, Asari Yosuke, was a little goofie but he'll be the doctor that contains the heart. He was very loving towards the girl who had juvenile diabetes. His last scenes had me tearing up. I really, really, really like him.

What's left are the girls. I'm still wishy-washy on them.

I will keep all my fellow English speakers, and non-English speakers, informed as the serious and subbed episodes come along. LOL!

Code Blue
Looks like our Yamapi has been working out as of late. He's lost that baby fat and is looking more like a man. *purr, purr, purr* I don't know if I can control myself. DAMN!

This pic is from the beginning/opening of the show as he gets ready to start his first day at the ER. OMG! This shot will never leave my head.

Sakaki Makio, also known as "Tornado" is a tough 27-year-old high school drop-out. By academic standards, he's pretty dumb. His father decides to force Makio to return to high school to receive his diploma and he asks an old friend who happens to be the principal of a nearby school to admit Makio. If Makio doesn't graduate, the position of boss will be given to his younger brother, Mikio.

Furthermore, he must pose as a 17-year-old during school hours and in the presence of any classmates or teachers outside of school. If his cover is blown, it would be the end of his high school career as well as his hopes to become boss. Things start out rough and tough as Makio's violent temper is tested. As the lessons and days go by he learns there is much more to school than just tests and studying.

OMG! This is like the best drama ever! Well, comedic/drama ever! I've never laughed so damn hard in my life. Nagase Tomoya was made for the part of Sakaki Makio "Makki". I should have watched this first....way before I watched the Korean remake movies of the same name. The Korean movie version didn't do this show justice.

I laughed so hard, no lie, 'bout peed myself with tears coming out of my eyes. OMG! The pudding episodes.....a laughing masterpiece. What is so great about that damn pudding? (Actually it looked like flan to me...but I guess it's all the same.)

Yeah, this weeping willow had some moments at the end that had me boo-hooing into the back of my left hand as my right wiped tears off my face.

I'm now an official fan of the Nagase Tomoya fan club. Hear me ROAR!

Tokyo Serendipity (Koisuru madori, 恋するマドリ-2007)

Tokyo Serendipity

Starring:
Yui Aragaki - Yui Aoki
Ryuhei Matsuda - Takashi
Rinko Kikuchi - Junda Atsuko
Supporting Cast:
Noriko Eguchi - Yui's sister
Pierre Taki - Tanaka
Tomona Hirota - Sachi Tokuda
Marie

Beautiful college student Yui (Aragaki Yui) moves into her own apartment for the first time, beginning a new life of independence. Still green when it comes to life and love, she soon develops a crush on her moody upstairs neighbor Takashi (Matsuda Ryuhei). It turns out that Yui's apartment is actually the former abode of Takashi's ex-girlfriend Atsuko (Kikuchi Rinko) whom Yui also befriends by chance. And thus begins an unexpected journey of romance and friendship for these three very different people.

I watched this movie with massively high expectations. Can I shoot myself now? This movie started out so well. I was all into it. I was so pleasantly surprised to see Ryuhei-kun in a non-badboy role. He was withdrawn but not dressed in black, dark eyeliner, and with a kick-ass attitude. Nope, he played a professor (sensei!). That blew me out of the water alone. LOL! So here I am into this "love story" and it fell apart at the end. It made no sense. Their wasn't any completion to it. Is Takashi still with Junko or what? I was so hoping for him to end up with Yui because she was there the whole story helping him. It was hard to feel anything for Junko sense she sort of "threw" him away. I felt no connection whatsoever. What a crapping ending. I'm not at all pleased and that just made my 2 hours of Ryuhei-kun heaven end up in movie hell! Damn!

So in my opinion...don't watch it unless you want to beat your head against the wall and curse the movie gods!

Ahh..but I don't mind posting pics of Ryuhei-kun because I don't get to often. LOL!
