Masaka Kubota plays high-school student Keita, who leads a secret life as a "network investigator" for a secret organization. In the introductory episode, Keita has moved to a new school in Tokyo but doesn't like it. His best friend from his previous school comes to Tokyo and they run away together. Passing through a construction site the pair are attacked by a robot, but are then saved by a man named Takimoto and his strange sidekick — a cell phone with arms and legs.
Notes
"Ketai Sosakan 7" is overseen by film director Takashi Miike.

I'm a freak when it comes to Japanese hi-tech dramas. I was a little let down in the first episode. I don't know why. I thought this show would be soooooooooooo stupid. A cellphone buddy? What-ev-ah.

Okay, I busted through it. Again, after watching it, the Japanese have set the standard on morals and family values. Who would have thought that THIS show would pull that off? The last few episodes...well, yeah, makes you think about robotics and man.

I won't lie. The story lost momentum in the middle. Some of the episodes weren't really necessary or just plain stupid. But once they got back to the storyline and really rallied the value of humanity and friendship, it was bliss.

Again, I won't lie....there just wasn't enough Matsuda Satoshi. The man is a freakin' hottie! Watch Vampire Host. Holy Enchilada!!! Every episode just about wet my panties. LOL! Anyway....where was I? Oh yeah. LOL! I thought he was going to be a main character but was more or less, here and there. His stories were about lost. Only a hand full of him in the episodes and there are 46 of them. Errrrgh!

In all, this drama was a great boredom buster. Very thought provoking but yet again it's not like we haven't seen movies and dramas that depict the inevitability of human nature verse robots. Need I say more. We can't live without our handy cellphone but then aren't we just a tad bit too dependant on anything that requires to live at the push of a button.......

A comedy featuring three single women working hard in a big city and one love counselor who gives them glimpse of their true feelings toward love, marriage, relationship, and ultimate happiness. The game of “love” begins with a gong!! --TV Asahi

This was quite a cute and funny show.

I was pleasantly surprised to see two....YES, TWO....of my favorite Kamen Riders! Suga and Matsuda!!!! Can life be any better?

This was genuinely a sweet romance and love story for the three women who were lost in the dating world. Unexpectedly did they learn to fight for their loves. And truly, I was terribly happy at the ending. Hanako ended up with the guy I had been routing for the whole time. Genuinely happy with the ending.

I was a little upset that my Matsuda-kun only had a bit part in the whole drama but yet Suga-kun was in every episode. So that was a nice relief and just made me jelly all up inside. Ya know?

Kamen Rider Ryuki (2002-2003)

Kamen Rider Ryuki
Starring:
Takamasa Suga -Ryuki
Satoshi Matsuda -Dark Knight
Ayano Sugiyama -Yui

"One who does not fight will not survive."

Thirteen Advent Card decks were created for thirteen Kamen Riders. They make Contracts with monsters from the mysterious Mirror World, a dimension opposite to our own in which the Kamen Riders can only exist. The Riders draw on their monsters' strength in exchange for feeding them the life force of the creatures they destroy. The creator of the Advent Cards has only one rule: that there can be only one Kamen Rider. The others must be killed, and the sole victor will be granted a single wish. This is the Rider War.

All over the city, innocent people are being mysteriously abducted, never to be seen again. During his investigations of these incidents, Shinji Kido- an intern at the online news service ORE Journal- discovers one of the Advent Card decks at an apartment where every reflective surface has been covered by newspaper. He is soon sucked into the Mirror World, discovering the terrifying truth behind the disappearances: people are literally being pulled through mirrors by the monsters of the Mirror World so that they may feed. He is about to be killed by a powerful dragon named Dragreder when he is saved by Kamen Rider Knight- Ren Akiyama. Ren seeks to win the Rider War at all costs. He works with a young woman named Yui Kanzaki, who seeks her missing brother: the master of the Rider War, Shirō Kanzaki. Seeing Ren's strength, Shinji enters the Rider War not for the prize, but so that he may protect innocent people from the threat of the Mirror World, and stop the senseless fighting between the Kamen Riders. With Dragreder as his Contract Monster, he becomes Kamen Rider Ryuki.

He will discover that there are some people who cannot be saved. That you must sometimes fight in order to stop the fighting. The extent to which you must go if you want your deepest wish to come true, and the sacrifices that you must make. In the end, there can be only one Kamen Rider...

OMG! Another good one. After Blade, I had to get more. Hahaha! I'm addicted. Badly! (Kiva....here I come!)

This series actually was low rated and almost canceled in the Japanese world. Why? Fanbase? I don't know. This one was relatively good but I think it didn't stick with the Kamen Rider theme. This was more about the inner turmoil of the Rider system and who deserves to live and die. To me it wasn't about saving the world, but about the girl named Yui.

I'm sorry. I wouldn't risk my life for this one chick. Nope. Okay, I would for Matsuda Satoshi and Suga Takamasa. Whew! Some serious hotness in this one. I'm already a fan of Matsuda Satoshi and seeing he was in this series actually made me watch it in the first place. I probably wouldn't have if he wasn't. I'm addicted to this guy. I don't know why. He's just incredibly gorgeous.

Okay, this series was also the funniest by far. Episode 29...OMG! I laughed so hard, I about peed my pants and snorted Diet Mountain Dew. Totally hilarious. Actually, the whole series was quiet funny. It had enough to keep the show fun. Suga Takamasa was great as Blade/Shinji. His quirky character...innocent and naive...just made him all the more loveable. I want more of this guy.

Based on Kaori Yuki's short "Bloodhound". It looks like there have been some mysterious vampire-like murders going on, and who else does hyperactive, loud-mouthed Rion suspect but Suou, a devishly handsome worker of a male host club. (Well, along with everyone else working at the club.)

I loved and hated this drama.

I hated it because this was the first Japanese drama that left me lifeless....needing more. I have to have more.

I loved it because this was the first Japanese drama that left me lifeless....needing more. I have to have more!

God. I sit here with my heart torn to shreds because I feel like this was too short of a perfect drama.

It was gothic....dark and inhumane. But yet.....romantic and kind. The character of Suou...while intensely funny and gorgeous....was played by the perfect actor (Matsuda Satoshi). This drama was just plain perfect in everyway. This was definitely a comedy but yet the themes were intense and thought provoking. When this drama ended I cried for hours because I wanted the perfect ending. Why isn't there another season of this?

What in the hell happened in the end? I'm so confused. Is she a vamp or not?

Suou....come back!!!!!!!! *damn, I can't stop crying!* I've never fell in love with a character as much as this one.
