Kim Sam Soon (Kim Sun Ah) is a baker who has a talent in making pastries and cakes. On Christmas Eve, she caught her boyfriend, Min Hyun Woo (Lee Kyu Han), cheating on her and breaks up on the same night. On that same night, she accidentally went into the men's restroom and met Hyun Jin Hun (Hyun Bin), a somewhat callous fellow but sometimes considerate guy. By sheer coincidence, Jin Hun needs a baker for his restaurant Bon Appetit and Sam Soon is unemployed. Sam Soon is hired as the restaurant's chief baker and the two fights like cat and dog. Nevertheless, they started to have feeling for each other and Sam Soon agreed to post as Jin Hun's girlfriend so his mother would leave him alone. Things got complicated when Jin Hun's ex-girlfriend Yoo Hee Jin came back from the States intending to win him back.

This is an all time favorite of mine. So insanely funny. Kim Sun-ah is the master of comedy. This is my upteenth time to watch this. And for some reason this last time I watched it......Hyun Bin was more attractive than ever. And I will say this......I think he is now on my most favorite list. Why? Maybe I missed something. Or maybe after seeing my "who knows how many" dramas, I've matured in that aspect. Dunno. *shrugs*



If there is any Korean drama to start with, next to Full House, this is the one. You can't go wrong with this one at all. So much hilarity, sense, originality (one of the few that started the gourmet/cooking genre) and real love.



Ohhhh, those kissable Hyun Bin lips. Yep, definitely on my favorite list.



Another reason I really liked this one. The love triangle/quadrangle wasn't intense. The relationships were respectable and real like. A few twists but that was okay.



The best part out of the whole series........watching Kim Sun-ah have English conversations with Daniel Henney. OMG! The most hilarious sh** that I have ever watched. Insane funny.

The trophies lined up in the training hall bear witness to the past victories of the Manseh Taekwondo Team, but these days the team is but a shadow of itself. Only one member, the quiet reclusive captain Min-kyu, is even remotely capable. The coach Koh demands that the team reaches the semi-finals of big upcoming tournament, but Min-kyu is the only one who hasn’t already given up.

When the team runs into a local group of street thugs, they are all beaten to a pulp, and the thugs are throw in jail. In sheer frustration Koh quits, saying there’s nothing more he can do for the team. When he leaves he advices Min-kyu to come with him, but the young student will not abandon his team.

The school administration is in a rut. Still, they feel they can’t give up on the team, because that would mean sacrificing 50 years of legacy. The Taekwondo team was once the pride of the school, and if they give that up they have nothing.

As a last desperate resort, the headmaster of Manseh turns to the thugs who beat up his team. He offers them a simple choice: Either be expelled from school, or join the Taekwondo team. Standing behind bars in prison the offer suddenly seems very appealing.

The thugs turn up at the training hall, but they are met with no love from Min-kyu, the only remaining member of the old team. He feels that the thugs degrade the team with their attitude, but unless he quits he’ll have to accept their presence. *OMFG! Look at the pecs on Kim Dong Wan! Hello? I want to touch them sooooooooo badly!*

But one thing is still missing: A new coach. The team’s hardworking assistant Su-bin seeks high and low for anybody even remotely interested in the job. The desperate search yields only one candidate: The burnout junior coach Song Chung-kun, who volunteers simply because he has no other options.

The team only gets though the preliminary rounds because they intimidate the other teams, but suddenly the thugs realize they can’t win the tournament this way, and they actually start to take the whole thing seriously.

Three of the thugs soon emerge as serious contenders. First there’s the uncrowned king of the school, Yong-geak. Then there’s his lieutenants, the solid Hyuk-soo, and the whimsical Jung-dae. Along with Min-kyu, and the understudy Sung-wan the 5 man fighting team of the Manseh School is ready to fight. Or are they?

Will the thugs be able to put their street fighting ways behind them and restore some dignity to the team? Can Min-kyu step up and work together with his new team-mates? And do any of them stand a chance against the powerful opponents that await them towards the end of the tournament?



I so loved this movie. I'm a fool for hot guys, action, boys-coming-of-age-learning-responsibility, and, again, hot guys. LOL!

This movie was fun, the action seemed real not rehearsed, and the story was respectable. It's the traditional underdogs defeat the hot dogs on top. If you don't mind that type of movie which is so mainstream in everyday society.

I love that stuff so it wasn't like I wouldn't like it.

I love Shinhwa and Kim Dong Wan leads the cast. He isn't my favorite but as long as he is with Shinhwa then he's cool with me. I was more for Hyeon Bin. He was adorable in Kim Sam-soon!

Young-Mi was brought up in a loving environment. Her parents taught her to meet the world with a smile on her face, and not be deterred by bumps in the road on her way through life. They also taught her that somewhere out in the world she would meet her one true love. But alas this felicity was not meant to last. Young-Mi's parents die, and leaver her alone at a young age, and suddenly she's forced to grow up very quickly.

However Young-Mi is well prepared. She ventures into the world with an appetite for life, and many dreams and hopes for the future. She goes to school and studies hard, and one day a package arrives for her. A beautiful pair of shoes. There's no sender on the package, and when she attempts to track the origin of this gift the trail ends at a P.O. box. Later when she enrolls in collage and attempts to pay her tuition she finds that it's just been paid. Someone out there is watching out for her. But who? And why?

After a while she gives up, trying to track down this mysterious benefactor, and instead she figures that the best way to thank him would be to work hard and better herself.

When she's completed her education, Young-Mi lands a job at a radio station, as a staff writer on a popular show. As luck would have it, there's an apartment available close to the station. It belongs to a co-worker currently on sick leave. Young-Mi moves in to this new place, and she also gets a roommate, one of her colleagues. When her laptop computer breaks down she turns on the desktop belonging to the owner of the apartment. Then she notices that an e-mail has just arrived, and she reads it. The mail was sent by the woman who used to live here, addressed to herself. In the mail she explains that a serious virus is slowly destroying her mind, and she fears she'll soon lose all memory of who she is and what she's done. She reveals that she's spent most of her adult life longing for a guy, who doesn't even know she exists.

Through the e-mails Young-Mi begins to follow the story of this girl and this boy. Meanwhile she also begins to notice a guy who works in the station's library. And still, every now and then, a package arrives from her secret benefactor...



OMG! What is it with tragic romances? Why can't I find a romance that doesn't make me cry with grief? I'd rather cry from sheer happiness..........

This was another great tear-jerker. I couldn't help but fall in love with the shy, quiet Yeon Jeong Hun. I don't think there in NOT a female on this earth who wouldn't. Oh yeah, we all like those bad boys but ya know the sweet kind are good too.

The tragedy in all of this is that Ji-hoon should have confessed sooner to Young-mi. The story was easy to figure out but one thing stumped me and that was the director of the station that Young-mi worked at. And when I found out, it was like....."ohhhhhhhh!"

This movie was a sort of typical classic romance that ends with you swiping your knows and gulping back sobs. In the end....it was all for love. *sigh*

I already posted pics of Yeon Jeong Hun from Love in Magic. I can't wait to see more from him in the future. Such a sweet lookin' guy!! Oh, and he just got back from his mandatory 2-year service requirement with the South Korean army. Hoo-ahh!
