Kim Jung Hwa is a young and sincere middle school teacher, who has little interest in money. She is also extremely warm-hearted and loves to help other people. When she helps carry an elderly man's belongings from the train to another location, the elderly man is extremely thankful. This grandfather turns out to be the extremely rich owner of a well known conglomerate. His grandson, Kang Dong Won is a quick-tempered businessman who rivals his grandfather, but in an almost comical way. In an order to "tame" his favorite grandson, the grandfather agrees to give his entire fortune to the person who marries Kim Jung Hwa, therefore forcing Kang to meet the girl whom his grandfather chose. Although at first Kim and Kang don't get along because of Kang's extremely cute but bad temper, their arguments bring them closer together. Kang starts to get jealous when Kim's fellow teacher starts liking her too. Through the clever conditions that Kang's grandfather makes, Kang starts a relationship he does not look forward too. However, what looked like a relationship that would 99% not work out, turns out to be the "perfect" match, the 1% chance.

I've been so bored lately. I've watched all the movies off crunchyroll.com. I haven't seen all the dramas but there are some that don't trip my trigger anyway. Soooooo................

I've been rewatching dramas I've seen over a year ago or more. I came across this one and thought to myself...."I don't remember Kang Dong Won in this...." Ummm, when I saw this I was a newbie to the asian drama world and didn't know anyone.

I forgot how much I loved this drama. I actually spent a whole two days holed up to watch this. Yeah, two days!!! It has 26 episodes my God.

And since this was a long time ago, I enjoyed it more since I was able to appreciate the actors more soundly.

There is only one thing about this drama I didn't like......the last 6 episodes forget about the main two characters and focus on the sub characters. Okay, that's all good but we all watched this to see Jae-in and Da-Hyun's relationship bloom. Okay, they made it to the alter but I wanted to see their married life. Ah well, it was a happy ending. All's well and ends well..........

And we can't forget about KDW.......holy moly is he fine. The Duelist...everyone must see him in the Duelist!!!!

Her professional skills of pretense and deceit easily got Young-ju out on parole. On a train to attend her sister's wedding, she runs into Hee-chul, a man in love with a girl he is just about to propose to. By some bad? or perhaps good? luck Young-ju and Hee-chul run into each other and she mistakes Hee-chul as a bum trying to molest her. Their first chance encounter turns out quite embarrassing. On top of that a pickpocket steals Hee-chul's engagement ring! Young-ju is worried that she might be accused of the theft, so she sets out to bring him back the ring. Amidst the hassle, she is left behind on the platform. The train has left, carrying away her own luggage. And all that she has with her is the ring.

What she needs is her luggage back. What she doesn't need is to be accused of theft. Young-ju finds her way to Hee-chul's home and the family seeing the ring thinks she is Hee-chul's fiancee! To wiggle herself out of the situation without adding another crime onto her record, she uses the skills of her profession and cons everyone into believing indeed she is the one.

Meanwhile, our poor Hee-chul returns home without proposing to his girl for lack of the ring, and finds that his family, in fact the whole town now blame him for deserting an innocent woman. Surprise! Surprise!

Now the bout is on between deceit and truth. Conwoman-turned-fiancee of the town's pharmacist vs. the pharmacist framed for rejecting a faithful woman.



Okay, I swear I thought I'd seen this movie. I don't know why I haven't till now. Huh, who knows?

This was a sweet movie. I haven't really seen the comedic side to KDW but I'm glad I have. After the Duelist, *oh, yeah I still have fantasies of him in that* he's been on my radar screen. I will not overlook any of his movies whatsoever just like Matsuda Ryuhei's, Odagiri Joe's, Song Seung Hun's, Kwon Sang Woo's, and Tamayama Tetsuji's.

An endearing tale of resilience, fate yet again strikes. This time it's Yeong-ju and Hee-cheol. These two were a match made in heaven. You love the way how a simple misunderstanding can lead to so many problems. But as fate yet again works it's wonders, the problems are solved and love takes shape.

I love these kind of romantic movies where they hate each other at once but as they get to know each other's weaknesses and strengths, love will bloom. *sigh*

Okay, I went a little overboard on his pics but damn if he ain't fine! Umm...let's add him with Song Seung Hun and Kwon Sang Woo in the best category in Korean male actor list. How could I have forgotten the Duelist? That movie made my toes curl everytime they showed his sword play. God! I think I might have to watch that again.........

This was the most wigged out movie I've ever seen. The first half was making my brain hurt. I couldn't tell what was dream, reality, nightmare, present, past, dead, or alive. This movie is not for those who can't take an artsy-fartsy movie. The movie is filmed in a blue tint with dark tones. Very, very weird for a South Korean movie.

For KDW, this was just his typical film that I've seen from him. This movie would have been hard for any actor of any caliber. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't the movie I thought it would be. If you can make through the first half, you are in for some sort of connect-the-dots. The beginning of the film you must make sure you remember certain sequences and clues because they come back and the movie starts to make sense and come to its conclusion. It was sort of like watching LOST. Clues + past sequences + dream sequences + reality = WTF?

The end I think was supposed to be sad but I just couldn't connect. To much trauma to my brain capacity left me feeling confuzzled..........................

A woman learns a lesson about hope and faith from a man who has little of either to spare in this inspirational drama from South Korea. While Yu-jeong survives, her actions drive a wedge between her and her family, who are committed Christians and believe suicide is a mortal sin. Yu-jeong turns to her aunt, Sister Monica (Yun Yeo-jeong), for guidance; Sister Monica is a nun who does volunteer work at a prison. There Yu-jeong meets Yun-su (Gang Dong-weon), a convict sentenced to death who like her has come to question the existence of God. As the two get to know one another, they become friends, and as they learn to bring hope back into their lives, they find themselves reexamining their denial of faith.



The tears, they fall like rain. This movie is so emotionally charged near the end. Whew! I'm sick of crying! Why are these Asian movies so much more better in that department? They kick my butt everytime!

This movie is no exception. This movie will make you cry deep down to the very depths of the bottom of your heart. This wasn't just about love but about forgiveness and redemption. This movie is about the death penalty. I, myself, living in the good old state of Texas (the death row capital in the US and possibly world) have wondered if it was worth it. I guess the answer would be yes. But that would depend on the justification of the crime and if the inmate was truly sorry for what they did or didn't do.

So, this movie more or less wasn't just about a love story but a really good topic for discussion.

I, myself, wondered if there should have been a happy ending?

OMG! OMG! OMG! Run! Don't walk. Right freakin' now! Go! Right now! Y'all have got to see this movie. OMG! OMG! OMG!

The choreograpy was spectacular. The very last scene of the movie (NO LIE!) was so erotic. This was some serious foreplay. I sooooooooo wanted to be Namsoon at that moment. OMG! The cinematography was beautiful. I will admit it was a little confusing at the beginning trying to figure out the plot of the story. It was like everyone was starting at different corners and everyone was trying to wind their way to the center. But once they got there, it was truly awesome. Truly, truly, truly awesome!

Set years ago in the era of the Joseon Dynasty, the story follows a young police officer named Namsoon (Ha Ji-won) who, along with her fellow officers, discovers a counterfeit ring operating out of the area they've been assigned to protect. However, as the criminals aren't just printing up their own money, they also plan to use it to topple the economy and take down the government. As her investigative work continues, Namsoon soon makes the acquaintance of a young man known only as Sad Eyes (Kang Dong-won), for the way that he looks out at you from underneath his hair - he doesn't say much, but he's got that look and that's all it takes to pique Namsoon's interest in him, even if she shouldn't be thinking those thoughts about someone she might have to toss in jail. Of course, Namsoon can't deny her feelings even if the object of her affection belongs behind bars, and it's not long before she's starting to act on her emotions.

Ummm....can I eat THAT? Holy Macaroni! Kang Dong Won....you are soooo cute! Second pic makes this writer produce some serious saliva. Ya know what I'm sayin'? Whew!

There was one only drama that I've seen him in...One Percent of Anything. I remember it well. It's a really good drama. I never got to review before I started this blog. Definitely worth your time and effort. Try it...before you buy it! Uh-huh....................
