Joon-soo is the kingpin of the Myungsung High School and an all around troublemaker who makes his parents even leave home in desperation. While shopping for a party at his now-empty home, he discovers a baby sitting in his shopping cart, with a name tag "Han Wooram" which points to Joon-soo as his father ...



Hmmm? This movie started off really cute and funny but it lost something near the end. I'm not saying this is a bad movie not at all. It was quite good but the ending just didn't satisfy me.

Was there supposed to be a romance going on between Joon-su and the girl? I really didn't see where she was supposed to be in the story except as his personal babysitter. That was just a waste of talent. Yeah, definitely. I was really hoping more from them both in that aspect.

I will admit I liked the twist at the end when we find out who the "real" father was. Wasn't really expecting that. That was really good how they through that in there.

Anyway, I was hoping for more out the ending but it was cute and sweet anyway. I cried a bit. Okay? There.

Ki-young (Jung Jin-Young) is an unemployed lay-about who, after attending a school chum’s funeral, persuades two other friends to restart their old college band. The hardworking Sung-Wook (Kim Yoon-Suk) and the lonely Hyuk-Soo (Kim Sang-Ho) reluctantly agree when they come to the realization that two jobs and solitary nights can’t be all there is to life. They recruit young Hyun- Joon (television heartthrob Jang Geun-Suk) to take over as frontman. It just so happens Hyun-Joon’s dead father was the fourth band member.

OMG! I loved, loved, loved this movie from the beginning to the end. It was fun. It made a wonderful point. And dreams can come true and if you fight and try hard enough. You can win.

My fellow birthday buddy, we share the same day, is in this. Yeah, JGS is that buddy. He is such a cutie, patootie! Look at that face. So young.....*sigh*

I have to say I had to laugh when the members of the band got tattoos. Oh, that was a hoot. And then when they went shopping for the band clothing. They looked sooooooo not ready and overly dressed for the concert. It was like watching KISS.....that make-up. LOL!

Such a great movie. And not a bad ending to be had! Yea!!!!!!!!!

Most male students head for the military barracks after finishing their first or second year in college, and many of them go through relationship troubles when they leave their girlfriends behind.

The film presents four different couples and depicts how they cope with the challenging period in a largely lighthearted fashion. The first couple is Won-jae (Jang Geun-seok), a college student who is officially in his early 20s but looks like a teenage boy, and his girlfriend Hyo-jeong (Son Tae-young), a physical therapist who is pushing 30. Apparently, their conflict revolves around their age gap, even when they remain apart due to Won-jae's military service.

The second couple is in the same music band. Bo-ram (Jang Hee-jin), a shy keyboardist, has a crush on Min-cheol (Danny Ahn), a tall and handsome band leader who is showing affection to another female band member, even when he is in the military. The emotional tug-of-war between Bo-ram and Min-cheol is a little bit more convincing than other couples, thanks to Jang's delicate performances throughout the film.

A very typical love triangle unfolds for the third couple: Jin-a (Yu In-young), who believes she's the prettiest and cutest girl in the world, and her faithful boyfriend Eun-seok (Kim San-ho). When her boyfriend has begun his service, Jin-a sends him a nice gift package including what she calls "Love Candy," but her devotion turns out to be not so solid when she feels lonely in the absence of her boyfriend and in the presence of his close friend (played by Lee Ki-woo).

But this is the fourth couple that goes to the extreme. Or the fourth girl, to be exact. Bi-ang (Han Yeo-reum) is living in her boyfriend's house -- Hur Wook (Woo Seung-min) -- and she takes full advantage of his absence to seduce another man and even invites him to live with her.


Okay, this movie was so truthful, I will have to tell you.

How do I know it's truthful? I am a military wife. For a person who has never seen their loved ones leave you for an extended period of time, will not understand this movie at all. But...it will give you a general idea of what we face and what our loved ones face while being deployed.

My husband's first deployment almost killed me. He was sent to Korea for a year. I, at that time, was a weepy wife with a toddler.....and we were left behind. My husband's second deployment, he was sent to Bosnia/Kosovo on a joint mission for 9 months. While in Kosovo, 9-11 happened and it was an awful time. Worried that my husband, an American soldier, would be targeted by Al Quaeda. Again, I was a weepy wife. Within 6 months of my husband returning home, he was sent to Afghanistan. He was gone 9 months. At that time, it was even scarier because they were sent to flush out Bin Laden. Again, the weepy wife. Not even two weeks of returning from Afghanistan, my husband was immediately sent to Iraq. He was gone 12 months and 2 weeks. Let's just say I was persistent in keeping the cell phone on my person and fully charged at all times. But I will say this, everytime he left, the feeling of loneliness wasn't as long. My husband has gone to Iraq an additional 2 times since then. He is currently in Iraq right now. This time, I'm not worried and I have my kids to keep me busy and occupied.

On a sad note, some of those women portrayed in themovie are true to form. I have known many a wife/girlfriend who betrayed their husband's, lost love, or just couldn't cope being alone. Each one of those women, I have known. Each one of those guys, I have known.

These guys need support from us from all sides of family and friends. Sometimes we forget that their jobs are more stressful and are more alone than we are. Yes, they have their friends in arms, but those friends are having to deal with the same issues as well.

From this army wife........"HOO-AH!"

So, yes this movie was touching and realistic in a Korean fashion. And sometimes I forget that it isn't just the U.S. that goes through these hardships too.............

In “Doremifasoladido” high schooler Jung-won (Ye-ryeon Cha) works at an amusement park, dressed up as Dragon cartoon character. Then one day, a guy standing among his friends twists her dragon mask around, causing her to fall flat on her back. Shortly afterwards, she locates the guy still laughing among his friends about what just transpired. Jung-won then proceeds to pour a drink over his head.

A few days later Jung-won is horsing around with her brother on the top floor of their home. They notice that a new family moved into the house next to theirs. Jung-won then gets a sickening feeling as she notices the young guy in their family is the same guy that twisted her dragon mask around in the amusement park. His name is Eun-kyu (Geun-seok Jang), a popular high school student that fronts the band “Doremifasoladido.”

The next evening, Jung-won attempts to sneak out of her house when Eun-kyo notices her from his house. He calls out to Jung-won and threatens to tell her parents unless she agrees to walk him from his high school to his practice studio for at least one week. Jung-won, eager to get to work and not have her parents find out, agrees to the deal.

When Jung-won accompanies Eun-kyo to his band’s practice session, she then notices an old familiar face. He’s Hee-won (Ui-cheol Jeong), the band’s bassist and a former friend of Jung-won. They were actually close childhood friends for 10 years, until Jung-won unknowingly reported Hee-won’s father to the police. That incident ruined Hee-won’s family and he has never forgiven her since. Now, Hee-won attempts to drive a wedge between Jung-won and Eun-kyu, as the three friends and former friends encounter stormy times ahead.~Lunapark6



I've read and read and read reviews about this movie. "It's bad," "It's horrible," and "It's not worth your time." Puhhhhhhhh-lease! I loved it. Okay, love is a harsh word but it wasn't terrible. It was cute. Okay, I should have cried at the end but all my tears were spilled for Koizora. I don't have any left. *I'm still teary-eyed over that movie* Anyway.........it was a sweet comedy/romance/teen-angst movie. Just to let those know...there IS a happy ending. Hey and you have two cutie-patooties in the lead roles with the exception that one was a class-A jerk. But hey, the eye candy factor was high. LOL!

I will say that I would never break up with my boyfriend for an ex- if he threatened me that he would commit suicide. That's when I'd call 911 and let the authorities know there was a whack job on the roof a building. *yeah, that is a scene from the movie...not the 911 part. Hehe!*
