It started out really funny. I loved seeing Naohito-kun in cowboy gear. I, living in the bible belt of cowboys, really appreciated this even though his character was totally way off and over blown. But that is okay. Just the thought of him in chaps was a glorious sight indeed. Oh, my only thing that really bothered me.....that patch of hair on his chin......had to go. I couldn't stop looking at the little thing. It draws focus away from his handsome face.

From the first few episodes it was really funny but then it started getting boring since the episodes were repetitive in nature. The last episode saved the show. Why did I finish watching this? F-U-J-I-K-I N-A-O-H-I-T-O!! He brings me glorious dreams........

Sad but as I was doing a photo search, I came across a sad read. HE'S MARRIED! Aaaaagh! Okay, I am too, but damn that ruined it for me! I actually felt my emotional, happy balloon deflate. *sigh*

Anyway, this was a pretty good show but senseless through some episodes. They did have morals at the end of each episode but I won't go through them. Too many. This was a good time waster if you are bored. But I definitely got full on the "eye candy".

This was suprisingly a very, very good drama. I cried a few times during some of the episodes. I laughed at their simple but sweet comedic moments.

Tamayama Tetsuji has done it again! I'm so in love with this guy. He's amazingly versatile. I would never have thought he would play a dairy farmer. What was so amazing was...he seemed in his element milking cows and helping birth a calf. OMG! He stuck his hand up in there. I'm pretty sure that was a real cow!!!

All the players were wonderful. Koide Keisuke is amazing always when he plays the sweet, shy, naive characters. He's very comfortable as an actor.

I'm always telling everyone I know....Japanese (mainly) dramas have metaphors of life. They teach and believe in the way of living. I really like these most. I don't feel drained after a drama. So I smile as I type this because this drama believed in the symbolism of family and the live of a dairy farmer that are becoming extinct.

A definite must see......................

The drama's full title is "Code Blue: Doctor Heli Kinkyu Kyumei." The concept is based on Japan's proposal for an emergency medical service using helicopters to quickly reach those in need. A special bill was passed in June 2007 that should foster widespread adoption of the system. Yamashita stars as a young doctor-in-training, working under the guidance of an experienced "flight doctor" (Toshiro Yanagiba). Some scenes will be filmed with a real helicopter, adding to the show's tension. ~ tokyograph

Okay, I downloaded the first episode that is finally....YES, FINALLY....subbed in English. Agh. I thought we'd never get to see it. Anyway, this will be what I know so far about the series....per episode 1. And, yes, I will be downloading the rest.

This was an awesome show.

Yamapi's character in more like a genious doctor. His faults are, though he maybe gifted and talented as a newbie doctor, he's very cold. He doesn't have the gifted bedside manner and he treats his fellow newbies in the same fashion. I do believe though we might see a love interest with his fellow newbie...Shiraishi.

I will also add the character who plays Fuikawa, Asari Yosuke, was a little goofie but he'll be the doctor that contains the heart. He was very loving towards the girl who had juvenile diabetes. His last scenes had me tearing up. I really, really, really like him.

What's left are the girls. I'm still wishy-washy on them.

I will keep all my fellow English speakers, and non-English speakers, informed as the serious and subbed episodes come along. LOL!


Looks like our Yamapi has been working out as of late. He's lost that baby fat and is looking more like a man. *purr, purr, purr* I don't know if I can control myself. DAMN!
