Her mission is to stop an alien invasion before it can begin. This invasion will eventually lead to all-out war between the aliens and the humans if Milly isn't successful. She meets a hitman named Miyamoto (Takeshi Kaneshiro), and convinces him to help her. Unfortunately, Milly's arrival in the past was slightly off and the aliens have already landed, and the evidence has been confiscated by the government. To make matters worse, a gangster named Mizoguchi (Goro Kishitani) is determined to claim the alien artifacts for himself and harness their awesome power. It's now a race against time for Milly and Miyamoto to obtain the aliens and save the future.

OMG! This was an awesome, totally awesome movie! It was amazing from the very beginning to the very end. OMG! This is now on my "must download at all cost" list. Action all the way through. There weren't any story gaps. No confusion. Just enough funny mixed in with touching to downright cool sci-fi.
This movie will remind a lot of you of Independence Day mixed in with E.T sprinkled with The Magic Time Machine. LOL! Okay...The Magic Time Machine was a bit much but there is no denying this movie has familiar elements of the other two movies. The little alien was soooooo cuuuuuute. Actually he was better looking than THE E.T. LOL!
There is a part in the movie where Milly actually comes back again. I won't say why or what she was doing. Just wonder if anyone will catch it in the movie later. It'll make sense in the end. Trust me!
This was definitely an A-list movie for everyone. Not a lot of blood...most of it left to the imagination. Just enough to make it seem real. And Kaneshiro Takeshi is hotter than ever in the movie. Damn is he HOT! *Somebody I think I need a cigarette. And maybe a pail of water, I think my panties are on fire......whew!*

"Moon Child" is a sci-fi action drama starring HYDE (of the band L'Arc en Ciel) and Gackt, two of Japan's top rock musicians with a strong fan base throughout Asia. Filmed on location in Taiwan, it features an up and coming cast in a truly unique, pan-Asian glimpse of the future. In a chaotic, strife-filled city where everything is up for grabs, fate brings four orphans into the life of KEI, a man with eternal life, a vampire.

The story follows the five tough yet vulnerable characters as they struggle to find love and friendship in a world of conflict and horror. Caught in the web of violent times, they end up at war with one another in a bitter sweet mix of love hate and gunfire.

It is the year 2014. The Asian Special Economic Zone, "Mallepa" is bustling with people of different races and nationalities. It's a boomtown at the frontier of the modern economic system where dreams can come true overnight...for some.

SHO, who has just turned eight, is one of a gang of kids known as the "Mallepa Orphans" who eke out their lives on the streets. Together with his brother SHINJI and their buddy TOSHI, they survive by petty thieving and picking pockets. One day Sho gets acquainted with KEI, a young man with the cursed fate of a vampire. Trying to help the wounded Kei, Sho takes him to their hideout.

A vicious thug storms the hideout to retrieve his briefcase which the gang had stolen earlier. They try to flee, but Sho and Shinji are cornered. Sho sees his brother gunned down. But nothing matches the horror of watching Kei arise and tear the thug to pieces then drink his blood. From that moment on, this terrible secret is a bond between them.

...Ten years later, Sho and Toshi have matured into hoodlums who plan to hit the local Taiwanese mafia and make their fortunes. Kei, not having aged a day, tags along with this group of friends.

As they launch their attack on the mafia HQ, they encounter SON, a local guy there with exactly the same plan in mind. They team up and become stronger than ever.

Later, at Son's house, they meet his sister YI-CHE who was once raped by the mafia thugs and left for dead. Struck dumb by the trauma, her only mode of expression is in the painting of a giant mural in the park where the gang hang out. Sho falls for her silent beauty, but it seems she is smitten by the mysterious presence of Kei.

Against the hidden longings of this latent love triangle, the following period is one of true happiness for the gang. For the first time in their bleak, young lives they know what it is to cherish each day. However the peace is fated to be short-lived. At the opening exhibition for Yi-Che's mural, hit men from the top-level of the mafia gang barge in, guns blazing.......

I'm going to start off right to the point. This movie is a total must-see. I've got tears streaming down my face. It was a beautiful story. Who would have thought a story about a vampire would be so beautiful. It was an emotional story that Hyde couldn't have played better. And surprisingly enough, Gackt rocked!! Kei (Hyde) starts off by becoming a sort of father figure to Sho (Gackt). As Sho grew, it was more of brother love. It was a bloody, enduring, hopeful story of friendship beyond imagination during a time of gang wars and racial discrimination.

This movie has got to be a sleeper hit. I really don't know but I'd never heard of it before but yet I've read other reviews to this movie and it was given above average marks. I have to say that I agree whole heartedly and then some!

I'll admit it was a bit fast in the time changes but yet it fit so well. We see the growth in Sho as he matures into an adult while we watch Kei struggle with life as he never ages and knows that eventually they'll all leave him behind.

The end was shocking and left me with a "huh?" then a "WTF?" to an "OMG!" then progressed to an all out sob fest. Man, the Japanese sure do know how to make me cry! Damn them! LOL! Kidding folks!

I'm immediately going to download this movie as soon as I can!! So should you!!

Drifting is the art of getting cars around corners as quickly as possible through controlled skidding. Mount Akina's tortuous hairpin bends and perilous drops make it a formidable test for even the professional street racers, but the fastest driver of them all is Takumi (Taiwanese pop idol Jay Chou) who has been delivering tofu for his father down that route every night since he was 13. Street-racing gangs hear of a "Racing God" and turn up to challenge him, but he only has eyes for his worthless (and underwritten) girlfriend - until his friends and his alcoholic father can trigger his competitive streak.

This movie rocked! It was awesome! My only complaint was that the main characters are obviously Chinese but are given Japanese names. Suzuki Anne is Japanese and her lines were dubbed!!!! I'm not a fan of dubbing. It drives me nuts!

I 'bout freaked out when I saw Waki Tomohiro. That's Kuma from Gokusen, Gokusen2, and Gokusen3! He has no lines but he is obviously there as a team member. Totally freaked out when I saw him. LOL!

Then, of course, we have Jay Chou, Edison Chen, and my new favorite love....Shawn Yue! Weeeee! This movie was fast, furious, and totally my kind of ride. Wow!

I have to say the end of the movie was perfect. Mogi deserved everything she got. Even though she got what she deserved, I couldn't help but feel like crap for Takumi. He is a really nice guy and even though Mogi was a nice girl....you reap what you sew. The end was great! I was not against something like that...even though I am extremely for "happy" endings. In a way, this one was............

I don't condone a single thing Edison Chen has done. I just googled his name and about threw up chunks. Yeah, he's a gorgeous guy....but well, he needs to learn to keep a certain thing in his pants. Eeeergh! Or atleast not put it on his hard drive *yes pun was intended...lol*

Stand Up!!!

Stand Up!
Starring:
Ninomiya Kazunari as Asai Shouhei
Yamashita Tomohisa as Iwasaki Kengo
Suzuki Anne as Oowada Chie
Narimiya Hiroki as Udagawa Hayato
Oguri Shun as Enami Kouji
Tsukamoto Takashi as Kume Naoya

Four schoolboys find themselves the last virgins left at school. During the summer holidays, a girl they knew as children 11 years ago, moves back to the neighborhood. Despite their childhood attraction to her, they realize she is a mere shadow of the "princess" they all thought they knew. This story of summer - love, friendship, school, family, the hypocrisy of adults, complications of life, experience and failure is set in an everyday shopping district and shows the clumsiness of children who have developed a little later than their peers. It's a bright romantic comedy that both young and old can appreciate. --TBS

OMG! I found another awesome drama! This is highly recommended for all teens (beware parents some nudity in 2-3 episodes but not lengthy). This was funny, poignant, sad, naive, hopeful, and reminiscent of high school life. You can't help but stand up and clap at how the parents tried so hard to keep their kids "pure". Then as many times as the guys swore to their abstinance they couldn't help but wish for their first time. LOL! God knows how much money they spent on condoms and never used them.

It was a funny romp with serious undertones. I think most girls would hope to have those 4 guys to be their first. Friends are usually our first crushes and loves. And are deemed worthy to defend and protect us from foul play. These guys showed their true colors when Chie's honor was crushed. Stand Up was the perfect name for this show. I don't know how many times I wanted to "Stand Up" and cheer for the great episodes and acts of courage these guys had to go through.

This was a wonderful eye-opener for the puberty ridden kid. Consequences on both sides. Is it worth it now or to wait? Kume Naoya was the perfect protagonist and antagonist for love and sex. Totally loved this show.

I love a good show that has a story and hidden meanings that go along with it. Hey, and add some members of the Japanese Brat Pack and there ya go!!
